AUDITION - Ballet Hispanico & BHdos - Sunday, January 18

Ballet Hispanico, under the Artistic Direction of Eduardo Vilaro, announces open auditions on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Auditions will take place at Ballet Hispanico, 167 W. 89th Street, NYC. Registration for the company audition starts at 10am. Registration for the BHdos audition starts at 4pm. Dancers should bring a headshot and resume and a $10 audition fee (cash only). Company auditions:
Ballet Hispanico is holding open auditions for experienced male and female dancers with strong classical and contemporary dance training. A minimum of 3-5 years professional dance experience is required for the company.

Bhdos auditions:
BHdos, the second company of Ballet Hispanico, is seeking male and female dancers ages 18-25 with strong classical and contemporary technique. BHdos provides mentorship for pre-professional dancers to hone their craft and be challenged by company repertory. BHdos performs (paid performance opportunities) for NYC school and community audiences and is a catalyst for a professional dance career.

    I am a performer, historian, consultant and dance writer.
