Thanks to generous support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, DiP provides immersive choreographic residencies for mid-career, New York City-based dance makers. Resident Artists receive: three weeks of exclusive, continuous access to a studio at Gibney; a $7,500 stipend and $2,000 allowance for artistic consultants; 40 additional hours of discounted studio space; and administrative support from Gibney staff.
Resident Artists will also be invited to submit a second application to turn one of their three residency weeks into a Production Residency in one of Gibney's theater spaces, including access to production equipment and technical assistance.
Learn more about the residency and the application process at two free Information Sessions led by Ben Pryor on Tuesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 15. Sign up now →
