Interested in shaping the future of the Black dance world? Do you have research that shows your interest in the field? Join IABD’s 33rd Annual International Conference and Festival of Blacks in Dance, Globally Connected: What Does Our Tomorrow Hold? by sharing your work. The submission period is now open for non-U.S. based applicants.
The conference and festival will take place in a hybrid format and all submissions should note consideration for a virtual or in-person offering.
Session proposals should attempt to address how the theme is demonstrated in their research and/or practice in the field of dance. We are looking for digital presentations, films, lectures, lecture demonstrations, movement workshops, panels, roundtables, and workshops to shape the conference and festival. Find out more here
