Recommendations for LMCC’s Manhattan Arts Grants are made through a juried selection process. Jury members are artists, cultural workers, and arts professionals who reflect the diversity of Manhattan’s communities, including diversity of genre, form, and cultural background. All jury members receive an honorarium for their time and service.
We especially welcome nominations of individuals whose work is rooted in the lived experience of Manhattan’s Black, Indigenous, and immigrant communities. We’re seeking jurors with experience in:
Contemporary or traditional arts practices
Curatorial/programming work
Grassroots or community-based arts
Arts education or participatory arts programs
