SLMDances seeks a dance artist who is a mature performer to fill the role of GUEST ARTIST to rehearse and perform in our spring/summer 2023 season. Guest Artists are engaged in specific rehearsal and performance engagements and their primary responsibilities are artistic collaboration.
The collective seeks dancer-actors and movement practitioners who have a minimum of 2-3 years experience working as an artist in NYC, and are actively developing their gender and anti-racist analyses. Dancers must have a strong technical foundation.
Black women and femmes are highly encouraged to audition. Artists who are age 40 and over are also highly encouraged to audition.
