The Company makes its NYU Skirball debut with the world premiere of PATH, "...with music from “Path of Miracles,” composed by Joby Talbot. The work reflects on the phenomenon of the Camino de Santiago — the ancient Catholic pilgrimage route across northern Spain to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia – and Curran’s own spiritual wayfaring. Also on the program is Everywhere All the Time (2018), with music by Donnacha Dennehy, which explores the relationship of humans with the natural environment and features a set by the noted landscape architect, the late Dr. Diana Balmori," according to the release.  Find out more here

New York Public Library for the Performing Arts - Bruno Walter Auditorium

This documentary, Breaking Form, is a tribute to the work of Comfort, a downtown New York dance scene and visionary choreographer for  decades "...pushing artistic boundaries, redefining movement, and engaging her audiences in social justice issues of the day," notes the release.  The event is FREE.     I am a performer, historian, consultant and dance writer. I am a Empire State College's online program Center for Distance Learning.  I am also a former faculty member at The Ailey School and the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University dance major program, Hunter College, Sarah Lawrence College (Guest), Kean University and The Joffrey Ballet School's Jazz and Contemporary Trainee Program.  I write on dance for The Amsterdam News, Dance Magazine and various publications.  Click below to read more about me at my home page - "About Me."
