In their return to New York for their first major engagement since 2012, the Company will present the New York premiere of Red Carpet by Hofesh Shechter. After many years of setting works on the Company, this latest piece, Red Carpet, is the first created especially for the company and had its world premiere at the Palais Garnier in June as part of the 150th Anniversary of the historic theater. Red Carpet features music and set design also created by Shechter, and dancers dressed by Chanel. Find out more here

From South Africa, William Kentridge’s Sibyl, with music composed and conceived by Nhlanhla Mahlangu and Kyle Shepherd, is inspired by the ancient myth, Waiting for the Sibyl is a chamber opera featuring ten singers and dancers immersed in Kentridge’s visual language: hand-painted backdrops, animated ink drawings, projected text, collage, and shadow play. As part of L’Alliance New York’s "Crossing The Line Festival," Kamuyu will premiere Fragmented Shadows, “Grounded in epigenetic and psychosomatic research, Kamuyu offers voice and light to embodied legacies of inherited and personal suffering. She asks, How can we use the body as a site of liberation, a site of healing,?” according to the release. Find out more here
