Dear Friend, Do you know any male residents in the Tri-State area between the ages of 13 and up that ABSOLUTELY love to DANCE? If so you must tell them about Hearts of Men! All males are welcome to participate regardless of experience level. If your are interested in participating and have never been onstage, not a problem! We want you! The program is an educational experience where each dancer has the opportunity to learn and share every aspect of being a male dancer: from what happens onstage to what happens behind the scenes as well as your everyday life. Hearts of Men brings together many generations of men, from elders to youngsters, in one circle of shared experience. With the opportunity to dance together, learning not only from their peers, but from their elders and the youngest participants. The Hearts of Men Intensive will be held from August 23 - September 6. We offer two weeks of daily rehearsals which then culminates into two public performances on September 5 & 6. Classes the week of August 23 will run from 11:00am-5:00pm and during the of August 31 from 5:00-9:00pm. All classes and performance will be held at the Alvin Ailey Studios located on 405 W 55th St, New York, NY 10019. To register or if you have any questions, respond to this email or email steffenemia@gmail.com or call 860-350-6494. For more information visit EMIAdance.org.
