Josie Robertson Plaza & Damrosch Park Bandshell
Baby Loves Disco features music from the 70s & 80s, spun and mixed live by real DJs, plus interactive elements like face-painting, egg-shakers, and other music makers. Lil Buck offers a demonstration and performance geared to families through jookin’ during the day, then returns for an evening performance at the Damrosch Park Bandshell. Bridgman|Packer Dance presents their site-specific work, Truck performed inside a 17-foot box truck, which will be “parked” on Lincoln Center’s pass-through, underground drive. Heidi Latsky Dance challenges preconceptions and prejudices about beauty with works that feature an integrated company of disabled and non-disabled dancers.
The singers, actors, dancers and acrobats of New York’s Chinese American Arts Council Dancers present traditional works @ Hearst Plaza.
