DiP provides immersive choreographic residencies for mid-career, New York City-based dance makers.
12 DiP Resident Artists receive: three weeks of exclusive, continuous access to a studio at Gibney Dance; a $7,500 stipend, pending support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation; 40 additional hours of discounted studio space; and administrative support from the Gibney Dance staff. This year, two DiP Resident Artists will receive two weeks of studio residency and a one week production residency in one of Gibney Dance's theater spaces.
