Parker Woods (cellist/narrator/ movement) and George (choreographer/dancer) will present the world premiere or Difficult Grace.
The multimedia work centered on the Great Migration will feature film, visual art, the poetry of Amiri Baraka and Dudley Randall, and music written for and with Woods by Freida Abtan, Monty Adkins, Fredrick Gifford, Michael Gordon, Nathalie Joachim, and Pierre Alexandre Tremblay. This production also includes newly commissioned music by Ted Hearne and Devonté Hynes, a.k.a. Blood Orange. There is also an virtual version on November 22. Find out more here

Núñez, a visually impaired choreographer and disability advocate is expanding audio description as an art form in his latest work, The Circle or Prophetic Dream “…anthropological research on how the body and sound inhabit social space as new forms of nomadism, in the midst of the current international migration crisis caused by displacement, climate change and land appropriation,” according to the release.
