The Wassaic Festival Happens This Weekend - July 31 - August 2nd

7/26/2015

Greetings Friends!

The Wassaic Summer Festival happens this weekend! (Friday, July 31st - Sunday, August 2nd!)

Once again, I'm proud to be on a team of folks who've put together an amazing, FREE weekend of live music, dance performances, an exhibition of over 65 emerging artists’ work, short and feature films, guest speakers…plus bonfires, local swimming-holes, brick-oven pizza, beer, camping, and it’s just a train ride from NYC. THIS FESTIVAL IS NOT TO BE MISSED!

Wassaic is a FREE festival and part of a larger non-profit organization that supports emerging artists and the local community year-round. I’ve been lucky enough to be the director of Dance @ Wassaic for the past 7 years and this year will be just as spectacular!  Check out this year’s lineup here!

Read more about the Festival here.

To be part of the festivities, all you need to do is REGISTER ONLINE, in advance in order to camp or park on-site (that is the only element that is not totally free, but is 50% off in advance!). If you’re just coming up for the day to check it out, simply buy a Metro North Harlem Line train ticket from Grand Central that weekend and take it to the last stop, you’ll land directly down the road from the festival in the heart of Wassaic. Check out the "Getting There" link.

I’m there the entire weekend – camping and enjoying all the other events!  Please come!!
