Dear STREB Fans, Families and Friends,
I am extremely honored to be taking the reins as STREB's new executive director, a position I started in late August. In many ways, I feel like I've returned home after spending time leading teams and programs at other arts and cultural organizations, most recently the 92nd Street Y.
STREB has been an inspiration and empowering force in my life over the last few decades - as an audience member, Action Hero, educator, former board member, and as a student - with my husband and son - at the trapeze academy. This fall has been an incredibly exciting time for the company, full of premieres and commissions that took us abroad to Paris, Abu Dhabi and New Jersey, and I've loved seeing our home space at SLAM full of energy and action as all of our classes get started for the season.
I hope you'll join us for our special event on October 28 and at our Home Season which kicks off in November. Thank you for being involved in this exciting organization and I look forward to getting to know you all more!
