Summer Intensive/ Senior Division
Join Florida Dance Theatre for our Three-week Senior Division Summer Intensive June 8th – June 28th ! Participate in an exciting, fun and rigorous training program and explore a variety of dance techniques. Train with master teachers from around the globe, FDT Company directors and dancers and perform original and traditional choreography in a final performance held at the end of the session.
This program is designed for intermediate and advanced students ages 13-25 who are committed to enhancing their dance training. The program is geared to providing students with a chance to explore a variety of dance techniques with Ballet as a core component. A focus is also placed on educating dancers about dance history, choreography, and maintaining healthy lifestyles. Participants of the FDT Summer Intensive will gain the technique and experience that will build their knowledge, strength and ability to move forward in their future endeavors.
Room and Board is available on the beautiful campus of Florida Southern College.
Please note: The Senior Division is divided into 2 levels with age used as a general guideline. Students will be evaluated and placed according to the level best matched to their technique and maturity. (Bring Pointe Shoes)

Summer Intensive / Junior Division (ages 7 -13 )
July 6th – July 17th
Prerequisite: 2 years of ballet training /audition required
Times: Monday - Friday, 10:00 -3:00
Classes in ballet, variations, pointe ( if applicable) modern and choreography.
Performance on July 17th
The Junior Division is divided into 2 levels based on individual student evaluations.

- Video submissions will be accepted (DEADLINE May 25th) No longer than 5 minutes including basic barre and center adagio, allegro and pointe work if applicable.
