OUT LIKE THAT DANCE COMPILATION CONCERT
Saturday, June 19th, 8pm ET
If you’re Trans, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Questioning, Two-Spirited, In the light, Intersex, Asexual, and anything else we may have missed out, this CALL IS FOR YOU!
BAAD! is seeking eight (8) Queer & Out choreographers to present 5-7 minutes of their choreographic work for BAAD!’s Out Like That Festival on Saturday, June 19th, 8pm ET. This dance compilation will be presented as an outdoor event at BAAD!’s backyard stage, with audience members physically distant. BAAD! will compensate each choreographer $125 along with 5 hours of free rehearsal space leading up to the presentation.
Please note: Due to social distancing guidelines, dance pieces are limited to solos and duets.
BAAD! Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance creates, produces, presents, and supports the development of cutting edge and challenging works in contemporary dance and all creative disciplines which are empowering to women, people of color, and the LGBTQ community.

Email Programming Associate, Gerard Minaya, at [email protected] by June 1st, 2021. Submissions are accepted on a first come, first served basis and will continue until all spots are filled.
