Like a Woman: A Tribute to Nina Simone
A stunning work choreographed by Heidi Cruz-Austin celebrates the musical genius of Nina Simone and highlights Simone's powerful portraits of black feminism and social consciousness.
Crossing Waters
A soulful and exhilarating work choreographed by Heidi Cruz-Austin inspired by the Middle Passage. This work explores the concepts of spiritual ascension and the will to live.
Plus, the premiere of an Afro-Cuban inspired work created by our guest choreographer Erica Bowen (Arya Movement Project)
