INTRODUCTION TO IMPROV THEATER (ACE 9903) 9 hours; Tuition $99 Wednesdays 6pm – 9pm October 14, 2015 – October 28, 2015 Improv Theater is not only a form of entertainment, but teaches valuable life and workplace skills, which are now being recognized and used in businesses, corporations, organizations and a multitude of other situations involving groups of people. Some of the skills developed by doing Improv are: ease with public speaking; active listening; improvisation (or responding easily without preplanning); thinking “on your feet”; positive communication/creating “win, win” agreements; increased creativity; team building; stress reduction; and accessing joy and humor.




Registration for Courses There are three convenient ways to register: • Walk-In Registration: Monday – Thursday, 9am – 6pm, Friday, 10am – 5pm & Saturday, 8:30am – 10:30am. • Mail-In Registration: Complete the registration form, and enclose in an envelope with a money order (payable to Bronx Community College) or credit/debit card information, and mail to: Ofoce of Workforce Development Continuing Education, Philosophy Hall-Room 14, 2155 University Avenue, Bronx, New York 10453 • Fax/Telephone Registration: Fax the completed registration form to 718.289.6018. Include credit/debit card number, vc code, signature and expiration date. Payment Options • Direct Payments: We accept money orders, credit/deEit cards (VISA/MasterCard/Discover), company checks ONLY and vouchers. • Training Vouchers: We accept agency training and professional development vouchers from various programs. • Tuition Discounts: BCC students, staff and alumni presenting a valid BCC identiocation card can receive a 10% tuition discount. NOTE: Discounts are applied only to payment in full Zith credit/deEit card or money order. Only one discount applies per course. • Veterans’ Benefits: Many of our programs are eligible to be paid for with Educational Beneots from the Department of Veteran Affairs.
