The Lula Washington Dance Theatre (LWDT) and International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD) annouce a call for Dance Instructors.
The 2018 Annual International Conference and Festival is seeking qualified dance instructors who are interested in teaching in Los Angeles, CA, January 2018. Applications can be submitted online by clicking here. Must have at least 3 - 5 years teaching experience. No phone calls please. Deadline for submission, Sunday, October 15, 2017.
Entering its 30th year of serving the Black Dance field, the International Association of Blacks in Dance will host its 30th annual conference and festival in Los Angeles, CA from January 23 - 28, 2018. Join Dance professionals for this exciting event who represent the broadest gathering of Black Dance professionals in the US and Internationally, including agents, artistic directors, artists, company managers, dance artists, historians, presenters, scholars, students, and so many others.
Over four days, participants will engage in invaluable professional and networking opportunities. Workshop and Panel Sessions will provide experiential hands-on learning paired with examples of successful new models that reflect the field's entrepreneurial spirit and will inspire new thinking for a vibrant future for dance. Performances will also include Dance organizations from around the country and abroad.
