On Monday, February 26 from 2-4PM, we have a “Special Guest Edition” of Body Politics, Somatic Selves at Gibney Dance 280, an ongoing workshop that allows us to think physically about pressing social issues. On the 26th, we’ll be joined by guests from the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and the Alliance for Fair Food. This amazing group of farmworkers in the tomato fields of Florida have successfully challenged and reformed some of the most inhumane and corrupt labor practices in this country, harnessing the buy-in of big purchasers like McDonalds and Chipotle.
