Intuition: Dancing Without Walls
The aim of this workshop is to create a workable praxis that bonds us to autonomy. In this month workshop we will create dangerous work that engines itself by way of improvised maneuvers as we look at racial and sexual micro and macro-aggressions, erasures and misnaming(s).

(Family and Friends Welcomed!)"Nia Love re-configures and re-examines the meanings of ‘safe-space’, domesticity, self and care in an installment of her latest project, the Epic Memory Lab (EMLab).
Taking the form of a potluck, Love will facilitate a candid dialogue about healing and aging that will be guided by the recipes, stories, and family heirlooms offered by attendees.
EMLab is informed by the structure of Kitchen Konversations, a series developed by Nia Love and Marjani Forté-Saunders."

AUNTS | NYU Skirball

NYU Skirball’s backstage, dressing rooms, hallways and lobby (everything but the theater itself!) will be transformed when AUNTS takes over the building for this uptown/downtown performance extravaganza. Audiences will be able to wander and experience as many or as few performances as they choose, creating their own experiences through chance encounters. Bringing together contemporary artists and diverse audiences for this-night-only event, AUNTS concludes the evening with an immersive dance party in NYU Skirball’s lower lobby.
