MORE INFORMATION:
The Forum is a five-day leadership development intensive for emerging dance presenters and is being organized by Jacob's Pillow in partnership with The Association of Performing Arts Professionals and the New England Foundation for the Arts with support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Additional support provided by The Barr Foundation, Dance/USA, Mid-America Arts Alliance, Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, South Arts, and curriculum support provided by the Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance at Wesleyan University.
The open application deadline is March 28th.
15 participants will be selected to take part in the intensive at Jacob's Pillow in Becket, MA. All 15 participants will receive housing, meals and Festival performance tickets and there are limited travel stipends available.
The selection committee will prioritize participation by presenters new to dance as an organization or as an individual, as well as non-traditional dance presenters. It would be great if you could forward this link to anyone whom you think should apply.
Jennifer Calienes is coordinating this project...and we've cast the net through all of the partners outlined above, but we think that a follow up from you to anyone you know in LA (or anywhere) would be super helpful.
