Each one of these leaders, known as USDAC Envoys, will help artists, activists, and allies across a multi-state region connect to USDAC actions and organizing—and to each other. Through a week-long, intensive training, regular check-ins, and a yearly retreat, USDAC Regional Envoys will master and enact multiple approaches to engaging individuals, organizations, agencies and/or public sector entities in their regions. If you have significant experience in community arts and organizing and are eager to help nurture seeds of social imagination and radical possibility in communities across your region, consider applying!
To begin, we’re hiring three Regional Envoys. Compensation: 12-15 hours/week. $10,000/year. $1000 budget for travel and materials per year. Deadline to apply: September 5th.
