Now in it's 11th year, Purelements' Center of Artistic Refinement's (COAR) program culminating year performance will showcase new works as an ode to popular Black Broadway classics, including “The Wiz;” “Motown;” “Dreamgirls;” “FELA!” and more choreographed and developed by the Purelements COAR program’s teaching artists. Students performing range from ages 3-21 and vary in experience from novice to pre-professional. All of the COAR students have trained in 2-5 dance genres in preparation for the performance for nine (9) months. Plus, special performances by guest actor, dancer, singer, Lamar K. Cheston and actresses Ramona Dunlap and Jaleesa Capri.
