Moss's johnbrown is described as “…an interdisciplinary performance work created with visual artist Laylah Ali, [which] meditates on the legacy of abolitionist John Brown using video, dance, theater, visual design, and community participation. In a series of spare yet emotional segments whose juxtaposition highlights the often contradictory legacy of the revolutionary, the work confronts the audience with their own sense of radicalism.
