In Letters to Marsha and Viewing Hours (a diptych), having missed a connection with queer ancestor Marsha P. Johnson, brooks builds Letter to Marsha on danced and written love notes. Also on the program is Viewing Hours, which “…takes the form of a wake, with brooks examining perceptions of death and decay…” according to the release.
