For their return trip since 2011, Spain’s Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca, under the direction of Martín Santangelo, will present an evening entitled Noche Flamenca y Antigona to live music. Authentic flamenco is promised in “…excerpts from Sophocles’ tragic tale that brings the fiery nature of flamenco to one of the world’s great tragedies, [in]…Antigona," notes the release.
