Artistic Director of Andrea Miller, returns to the Joyce Theater with a new work, To Create a World, where she “…harnesses the uncompromising virtuosity and raw vulnerability of the Gallim dancers in a provocative study of the human body and its instinct to survive. To Create a World is a culmination of research that began at the ancient Temple of Dendur and resulted in a unique movement language that takes audiences from a pre-human past to a post-human future,” according to the release. Miller served as the choreographer-in-residence at The Metropolitan Museum of Art for one year. Find out more here
