The Philly-based duo will premiere the evening-length dance/performance work The Vulgar Early Works, “…a combination and composting of everything [these] ladies have been up to since they met, and it is meant to lead to a conclusive transitional mind-blow of epic proportions. The material the artists are drawing from contains – as their pieces always do – self-love, subversive humor, feminist spit, and a sexual, angst-ridden cry against society. The genre? Oh, somewhere between TED Talk, modern dance, therapeutic seminar, stand-up comedy, and abstract theater,” according to the release. Find out more here
