Dance Heginbotham Lincoln Center Out Of Doors continues with the world premiere of John Heginbotham and Dance Heginbotham’s Manhattan Research at the Damrosch Park Bandshell, Thursday, August 8. The work takes its title from the electronic music studio—the world’s first—that composer, bandleader, and inventor Raymond Scott opened in New York in 1946. The company will dance to Scott’s catalog, including “Powerhouse”—performed live by the RAYMOND SCOTT ORCHESTRETTE.
