The Joyce Theater

For their return trip to the Joyce after a five year absence, NDT2 brings three works by NDT2 house choreographers Paul Lightfoot (Artistic Director), Sol León (Artistic Advisor), one by Johan Inger (Associate Choreographer), and another by Israeli choreographers Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar. Shutters Shut “…the witty, four-minute piece in which the dancers, using their own sign-language, interpret the words of an original Gertrude Stein recitation of her poem “If I told him,” plus the “…beautifully expressive [and] emotional” Subject to Change are by Lightfoot and León.
