BAM Fisher
For the Company’s BAM debut, and the first time Flamenco is celebrated at BAM Fisher, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana presents two programs and three world premieres. Choreographer and performer Ángel Muñoz’s Angeles, “…an inspired study of angels in myth, music and motion,” and a yet-to-be-named commissioned work by Málaga-based choreographers Enrique Vicent and Antonio López are the premieres. The two-time winner of Madrid’s Certamen de Coreografía competition, Guadalupe Torres, in a new solo work developed especially for her first-ever appearance in New York in Ausencia, rounds out the season.
