After the premiere in 2013 to critical acclaim, Brown’s Mr. TOL E. RAncE returns for just two days and three performances. Mr. TOL E. RAncE is inspired by Spike Lee’s “Bamboozled” and Mel Watkins’s book On the Real Side: A History of African American Comedy from Slavery to Chris Rock, this was the first installment of her trilogy on black identity.
