Pace will premiere Here Goes The Neighborhood the "...multimedia performance installation [that] conjures Bronx memories born from turmoil and resilience and elevates the wealth of knowledge we hold in our bodies, memories, and histories. Created, directed and performed by Pace also featured will be Alexander Diaz and Irungu Mutu. Also included is a video installation created in collaboration with Katherine Miranda that features over 20 people from across NYC expressing memories through movement," notes the release. NYCB’s 2022 spring season will include an array of programs featuring works by the Company’s co-Founding Choreographers – Serenade by George Balanchine and The Goldberg Variations by Jerome Robbins. Programs will also feature works by Silas Farley, Jamar Roberts (Emanon – In Two Movements), Pam Tanowitz (Gustave le Gray No. 1), featuring Dancers from New York City Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem, plus Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, Divertimento No. 15, The Four Temperaments, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream; and Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun, The Four Seasons, and more.
