The 45th annual Dance on Camera Festival (February 3 – 7, 2017) official call for submissions is open until September 30! The Festival is seeking submissions from professional, amateur, and independent filmmakers working in all aesthetic disciplines within the dance film genre, including narrative, documentary, animation and experimental.
Each February in New York City, the Dance on Camera Festival presents feature-length documentary and narrative films, inventive short films, filmmaker panels and special events, cutting edge media and art installations, as well as engaging community and student programs. Dance Films Association and the Film Society of Lincoln Center have co-presented the Festival since 1996, hosting screenings and special events at the Walter Reade Theater, with the addition of the Film Society’s landmark state-of-the-art Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center in 2012.
